KRISHNA MALLIK, M.D.

Dr. Mallik is a board certified orthopedic surgeon, with additional fellowship training in sports medicine, arthroscopy and arthroscopic reconstruction of all joints. She received her medical degree and training in orthopedic surgery from the University of Virginia, followed by fellowship training at the University of Chicago. Following an active practice in the Midwest for four years, she was recruited to Phoenix several years ago.

As an orthopedic surgeon, Dr. Mallik is current on minimally invasive surgical techniques, as well as procedures for cartilage preservation. She remains active in teaching continuing medical education, as well as the further advancement of orthopedic techniques, in order to provide the best available non‐operative and operative care to her patients. Additionally, Dr. Mallik is an instructor for national courses, including the highly specialized field of hip arthroscopy. She has authored numerous articles, published book chapters, and is a lecturer on topics of orthopedics and sports medicine, both locally and nationally. She serves as a Board Member for FORUM, Inc., as well as a reviewer for multiple peer‐reviewed journals in the field of orthopedic surgery. Dr. Mallik is an active volunteer in the community on local, national and global levels, providing orthopedic services overseas.

Her goal for her patients, and for the community at large, is preservation of musculoskeletal health in order to maintain active and healthy joint function.
